About The Newsletter Gal

The Newsletter Gal, Lee Leffler, is a skilled writer, computer expert and computer trainer. She has a Master of Arts degree in Professional Writing. Lee has worked in writing, technical support, training, software design, and software testing. She owns and operates Leffler Professional Writing Services.

Lee has been concerned about preserving the environment for 20 years. In 1990, Lee founded an environmental radio show for the Waterloo Public Interest Research Group (WPIRG) that is still on the air today. She promotes organic food and voluntary simplicity. Leffler Professional Writing Services is located in a home office to eliminate Lee's commute. Recycled paper is used in the office and, when possible, for clients' print jobs. Her office participates in a recycling program. Lee makes her car and business carbon-neutral by purchasing carbon offsets from Terrapass. Leffler Professional Writing Services has been approved as an eco-friendly business by Co-op America. Lee supports many environmental organizations including The Natural Resources Defense Council and LiveEarth.org.
